About Us

I'm Emma and Foto Furnished was set up by me in 2022 as a way of combining a love of interior design, photography and crafts. The idea originally stemmed from a single cushion for my Mum, using a photograph I took of my Mum's garden. It soon developed into a series of cushions and then expanded from there. I have loved sewing since I made my very first draw string bag at school at 9 years old. As a child my passion was for making dresses - mostly eveningwear - so I have always preferred handling luxurious fabrics like velvet and satin!

The Products

All the fabric is printed using photos taken by Emma herself and the products are handmade with love, making all Foto Furnished products truly unique. Unless water resistance is required, soft touch fabrics such as velvet or faux suede are a fundamental part of all cushions! The backbone of the business is photography and sewing which have been hobbies of Emma for many years. Decoupage and bookbinding are more recent pursuits which have become new passions to inspire a whole new set of stationery products. Emma also enjoys writing poetry and is hoping to expand into poetography products which would combine her poetry with photographic backdrops to further expand the stationery range.
